Book of the week: Toto’s Apple by Mathieu Lavoie

At Mumfidential we love to recommend new books we come across and Toto’s Apple by Mathieu Lavoie is our current fav. Just look at these gorgeous illustrations.

The tale introduces a tenacious little worm, Toto, and an apple that is just a little far out of reach.

Poor hungry Toto comes up with genius ideas to secure this juicy apple but they just don’t work.

His numerous failed attempts to succeed cannot fail to inspire creativity and determination.

A surprising twist proves to the reader that passion, creativity and steadfast commitment can result in unexpected success.

Two to five year-olds will instantly engage with Toto’s infectious enthusiasm and his lovable character, expressed vividly through Lavoie’s colourful, animated artwork and playful text.
