Explore London with these free, guided winter walks for families.

There are two new family walks in this year's series of Winter Wanders around London.

If you’re stuck for ideas on things to do with the kids this January, be sure to sign up to Winter Wanders, a new series of free guided walks covering London’s seven top walking routes, with two specially designed family walks for those with children.

Launched by Walk London, a Transport for London (TfL) project, the walks are designed to connect some of London’s best attractions – parks, woodland, rivers, canals and open spaces – while encouraging us all to take some exercise, explore London and enjoy the great outdoors (even if it is a bit miserable).

For children, there are two new family walks: Goodnight Mister Tom, inspired by the much-loved book; and Animal I-Spy in the City, a gentle stroll searching for dragons, lions, unicorns and other fantastical delights dotted around London (who knew?).

The walks take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th January 2016 and all walks start and finish within easy reach of public transport facilities. To find out more, visit www.walklondon.org.uk, email info@walklondon.org.uk or call 020 3151 1151.
