Half-term: don’t miss children’s story-telling festival, Storystock

Watch your favourite children's literature come to life at Storystock, 28th-30th October.

This half-term, children’s story-telling festival Storystock returns to the Bush Theatre with illustrator Chris Ridell (Goth Girl and the Ghost of a Mouse), author Judith Kerr (The Tiger Who Came to Tea) and CBeebies presenter Cerrie Burnell (Snowflakes) among some of our favourite personalities in attendance.

With events on for 0-4 years, 4-7 years, 7-11 years, over 11 years, as well as grown-ups, there is plenty to keep the whole family entertained and we are seriously excited about the line-up.

This is your chance to watch literature come to life with shows including everything from Michael Morpurgo’s I Believe in UnicornsThe Harry Potter Show, the premier of the Myth Marathon and The Diary of the Wimpy Kid taking place alongside stories with Judith Kerr, and fairytale characters Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and The Mad Hatter reading aloud their own magical adventures.

Meanwhile, for adults, Tom ‘The Idler’ Hodgkin son and ‘Pushy Parent’ Toby Young will be there to spark a parenting debate, and there’s even a creative writing workshop for those aspiring to write their own children’s book.

We’ll see you there.
