With medical resources currently focused on the coronavirus pandemic, expectant mothers may be concerned about the level of support they will receive during labour and in the first few weeks following birth.
There is so much love and assistance out there for you with so many professionals wanting to help out in any way they can.
One of our favourite companies, Little Earth Baby, has brought together a group of amazing ladies who can offer you their support on a new Birth and Newborn Support Platform.
Here, expectant and new mothers can get advice from, and connect with, experts and professionals from topics relating to birth, breastfeeding, post-natal nutrition, newborn health and all those other things you might be worried about before and after you give birth.
These experts have all recorded videos giving advice and top tips for mothers during this challenging time, and many of them have offered to make themselves available via phone, video conference and/or Whatsapp to guide you through anything you might need over the next few weeks.
There are also a number of webinars and online workshops you can join to ask questions and get help on a variety of topics relating to newborn and post natal health.
So far this free, not-for-profit imitative has helped over 2,000 new mums.
Emma Bianco, founder of Little Earth Baby and this new platform will be updating it regularly over the coming weeks.
“No woman should feel like they’re on their own at this important stage of life and the idea is that this platform will provide a place for positivity, support and connections,” she says.
