If you’re up for a summer holiday project why not create one of these tasty bird feeders and encourage a whole flock of new friends to your garden?
It’s so simple that even the littlest of fingers can make it.
YOU WILL NEED:
- Paper plate
- Cardboard Tube
- Selection of nut free seeds
- Maple or Golden Syrup
- String or ribbon (30 cm)
STEP 1
Lay your paper plate on a table and squeeze a dollop of syrup onto it. Then roll your cardboard tube in the syrup, making sure it is well covered.
STEP 2
Pour your seeds over the top of the tube and roll it around to make sure you have a good layer stuck to it. When you’re happy, thread the string or ribbon through the middle and use this to lift it out.
